So, my BIG NEWS is that, due to a cancellation, I was selected as the replacement US journalist to cover the World Travel Awards event, which is like the Oscars for Travel (hence the having to find a Black Tie gown)…in Quito, Ecuador! I’m getting flown out tomorrow morning at 7am and will join up with a member of the Canadian media for a pre-event visit of Quito and to experience and cover the WTA Awards for South America. Woohoo! Super excited!
