In the spirit of women helping empower other women in business, we proudly announce our 3rd annual scholarship. The Adventure Angels are a diverse group of women in the outdoor travel industry, dedicated to inspiring other women. Our mission is to support an outstanding female entrepreneur from a developing country working in sustainable adventure tourism. This scholarship, developed in partnership with the Adventure Travel Trade Association, will offer one winner the opportunity to attend the Adventure Travel World Summit 2018 in Tuscany for education, mentoring, networking and marketing support. Eligible candidates will have been in business at least one year, doing work supporting her community. At the Adventure Travel World Summit Alaska 2016, we were thrilled to award our first scholarship to Noelia Corrales, owner of the Colibri Spanish School in Nicaragua. In 2017 we supported Miskola Abdulloeva, director of Orom Travel in Tajikistan.
