This weekend I’ll be heading to the New York Times Travel Show, with over 550 exhibitors representing more than 170 destinations. While there I’ll have many meetings, learn the latest travel trends, meet up with my colleagues in the Travel Industry, enjoy cultural presentations, and savor tastes from the world’s most delicious destinations.
New York Travel Show, by the numbers:
560+ Exhibitor booths from across the globe
30k+ Travelers and industry professional attendees
280+ Travel industry speakers and experts
100+ Cultural presentations from around the world
On Thursday morning I’ll be joining 300 select travel writers for the International Media Marketplace (IMM), a meet and greet conference that lasts all day where I’ll be introduced to dozens of tourism boards, CVBs, tour operators, and other tourism officials from all over the world. I have 24 scheduled meetings in which I’ll find new travel stories, learn about new regions, and connect with people who will help me fill out my calendar of places to visit during 2019.

On Friday I’ll be attending the Adventure Connect, where I’ll join my fellow Adventure travel tribe members to learn about what’s new in our unique niche of travel. It’s always fun to connect with these folks, whom I only get to see once or twice a year.
Finally, there’s the Travel Blogger Throwdown on Saturday night, which will no doubt be a lively roundup of some of my closest travel blogger friends. All in all, I am really looking forward to my annual trip to New York to kick off another year of travel.
Do let me know if you will be there, as I’d love to say hello!
Adventure on,
Kristen
