In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, this Wednesday, April 22nd, PBS is premiering H2O, The Molecule That Made Us, a new documentary that dives deep into our relationship with our most fundamental resource, water.

This genuinely gorgeous film will transport you from your living room to an around-the-world journey. Travel from South Africa, where we see beautiful resurrection plants brought back to full bloom and color with just a few drops of water, to California, where a town that was once a booming vacation spot has simply run out of water.
H2O, The Molecule That Made Us is a special three-part broadcast and digital series premiering this Wednesday on PBS and airing for three consecutive Wednesdays. The series will also be available to stream at pbs.org/molecule.
